Introduction Diagnosed on 12/15/1997 with type 1 bipolar disorder; my life turned into an unexpected tail spin. I spent the next 11 years trying to find a way to function on the wrong medication regime. It was ugly to say the least. About the time I found the doctor who seriously saved my life, I lost custody of my oldest child then my 2 younger children left to go live with their dad. I was alone. Oh I had family and friends who took great care in making sure I was going to be okay. But inside my heart was shattering. I didn’t understand, I understand now. Bipolar disorder can take everything you love away from you. Especially if untreated. This blog is about how I reached the understanding that my behavior caused me to lose custody of my children. My ultimate goal is to write a book or books about my experiences. I want to help the bipolar community by teaching others that medication compliance is the only way to live successfully with this disorder. I also would like to post websites where professionals can help my readers get the psycharictric care they need. Please comment or email me your comments if I can help you or a loved one. I will try or get you to the people who can help.

You're wearing a sweater that stretches down to your feet. What color belt do you put on?

Depends on color of the sweater. But always put on the belt of truth. Ephesians 6:12
