| Introduction | I attended Colorado NW community College School of Farrier Science Steamboat Springs in 1978 after which I returned to Caldwell Idaho to begin my practice.
I take over 200hrs of continuing education credits yearly and compete in horseshoeing competitions. I have completed my fourth Certification level (Certified Journeyman Farrier CJF) of the five offered by the American Farriers Assoc (AFA). I trim horses that will remain barefoot and I trim for the application of various styles of hoof protection. I apply all types of metal shoes and boots. I am currently in the early stages of the study of Hoof loading and its hydraulic cushioning ability. |
