| Introduction | I'm a 51 year old mother of two grown kids who, after manyyears of playing around with vegetarianism and animal rights, finally "got it" in October of 2006, and went vegan. Christopher Hitchens, All of Rachel Carson's books, gardening books, books about food and the history of food, anything by Derrick Jensen, Michael Pollan's books, even tho he clings to the notion of humane meat, he has furthered the veg efforts. |
