| Introduction | Jyanzi conducts architectural explorations in Design Studios and offers lectures and seminars on contemporary topics related to Architecture and its Urban Determinants. He also offers an elective that deals with the Matrix of Architecture. His research interest stretches from a technological, pragmatic stance to that of an abstract, hermaneutics. Jyanzi receives his B.Arch. from the University of Houston and his M.Arch. from Cornell University. |
| Interests | Since 1985, he has conducted NUS School of Architecture field trips to the Indonesian islands of Sumatra, Bali and Sulaweisi. In Malaysia, he explored the Borneo States of Sarawak and Sabah where he climbed Mount Kinabalu. Most recently, in the later part of 1991 he and three seperate groups of students ventured into the Himalayan Valley of Katmandu, Nepal and the river city of Bangkok, Thailand. |
