| Introduction | well, besides being a Wanderer am a Poet too!! and my poetry take their finest shapes when am ensconced in d lap of nature!! to me writing poetry is spirituality which helps cleansing my soul within!!!! well, am a loner and just love being with myself or romanticizing with nature (or else you'll find me in my room-with my wife and kids). but on d other hand i love 2 socialize also--but have limited my circle for good and my life revolves around them only!! |
| Interests | reading, music, pets, trekking(exploring nature) are d activities am indulged in and can't live without.. and Poetry--which is more of a Meditation to me then an Interest!!!!! |

| Favorite music | 4 me music has no barriers no boundaries---from country music(kenny rogers,lobo,john denver,carpenters..etc.) to a.r. rahman---from atif to abida parveen--from hari prasad chourasia to norah jones and her beloved father--pandit ravi shankar---love 2 hear it all..BASICALLY--MUSIC HAS NO LANGUAGE--love 2 hear Latin, Arabic, goan,tamil and bengali songs/music 2!!!! |
| Favorite books | all time favourite "AN EQUAL MUSIC"-by:-vikram seth and "DOUBLE-IMAGE"-BY:-david morell--i must have read them an umpteen times---besides these 2--i love 2 read nicholas evans(the horse whisperer fame)and nicholas sparks(message in the bottle fame)have read all the novels by sidney sheldon--now am in2 david morell(what thrilling novels he writes--spine chilling) |
Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
it will commemorate me to have won a "Booker Prize" a first Indian Poet to have won so far!! The Statue will be made out of any Eco friendly product like Clay or Card Board!!
