| Introduction | Hello my name is Joanna. My husband Matt and I met when we were not nearly adults in 1993 and fell headlong in love. We now have three daughters. K., E. and J. I lived in England from the time I married Matt in 1997 untill 2013 when- after a whirlwind year of paperwork, interviews, house sales and headaches- we moved our family back to my home in California. While in England I trained as a Midwife and worked for a little while in the south of England as a community midwife in a crazy busy maternity unit. When I stopped working in 2010 Matt and I made the decision to home school our children. So that’s what I do. I teach my children, look after my family, fit in my love of handmade anywhere I can and try to live as near to Christ as possible. |
