| Introduction | "Mic-mic" is my pet name given to me by street educators when I was still in the "Send a Street Child to School Program" so I am using my petname in this blog. Why emicversion? Actually the term first came to my mind during our Ethics class and I want to use it here both in a professional and personal context. I want to share in this blog my professional perspective as a social worker and future social scientist and the word seems so personal to me, because my pet name is “mic-mic” which makes “emic” like “mic-mic in an electronic-world”. They said that nowadays, social workers do not just go to the field while the sun is hot they can also sit down in their chair and conquer a very vast field which is the internet.
