Introduction	I grew up in coastal Virginia, literally minutes from the ocean. Anyone who has ever lived in an oceanside community knows the culture stays with you regardless of geographical location. This "attachment" goes beyond even the southerner's strong sense of place. One may move away from the sea, but the salt air is permanently in the blood. ~-~-~-~-~ I spent my college years at a lovely university in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley where I met my husband. We've been married for nearly 15 years. ~-~-~-~-~-~ We now reside in the piedmont area of North Carolina where we are raising our 3 children in standard suburbia. Hopefully, we are enabling them to have a childhood and education that is far above standard. ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ We are followers of Jesus Christ who seek to serve him in our daily lives.
