| Introduction | TONY MARK has been following the dream of being a filmmaker since his earliest childhood.His mother, Sally both worked for Francis Coppola at ZOETROPE and then spent many years in the marketing department at LUCASFILM LTD. This enabled Tony to begin his film career as an intern at ILM during the eighties. After attending the Performing Arts High School of San Francisco as an actor, Tony Mark enrolled and was accepted into New York University's film program. Tony then moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 1992 and became an assistant editor at SUNSET FILMS. He cut three or four features there and then moved onto CENTURY FILM PARTNERS where he cut five features before leaving there in 1996. "After that I freelanced as an editor, cutting another six pictures for various companies including CINEMOTION, and EAST COAST FILMS". Although Tony stills edits, he began to pursue directing and producing in the summer of 1998. Tony directed several music videos and a digital feature film entitled, VISONS OF DARKNESS. Now, Tony Mark, after finishing his third feature film "Asylum", is looking forward to his next film "Art@30" |
