| Introduction | My name is Lisa Bird and I am the PR Director for SOME!!! Awesome job...most of the time...It is wonderful to be able to see every day that your job makes a difference in someones life. I have been a paid employee for Special Olympics Maine for 15 years but have been a volunteer my entire life. I have never missed a winter or summer games! I have two little boys and have been married to an awesome guy for 10 years! I love my church and keep very busy there running ALPHA courses, marriage courses, and recruiting for Christian events. I also sing in a Christian Rock band. In addition to public relations I also organize the Law Enforcement Torch Run, special events, Athlete Leadership programs, and Global Messengers. I have a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education, a minor in Communications, and a masters in Theater. I am a member of the Maine Public Relations council, NTA, MTA,and Tres Dias |
