| Introduction | I am a guy who reads a lot of books, and thought I'd start up a blog to share my reviews of them. You won't find words like "TOUR DE FORCE" or "THIS IS A MASTERPIECE OF AMAZING LITERATURE THAT SIMPLY WILL ALTER THE WAY YOU SEE AND SMELL AND TASTE THINGS" because I am a normal guy and in my life I have never heard someone use "tour de force", or any of the huge hype words used in book reviews in a conversation regarding anything, ever. Plain english, plain words, plain observations. I might get excited from time to time, but I'll keep the language down to normal, human levels. No marketing speak involved. |
