Introduction	I live in a small neighborhood near Flint, Texas. I have studied drawing, painting and sculpture. My favorite subjects are portraits and hands; portraits because the eyes are truly the mirror of the soul and hands are the roadmap to where we have been. My favorite mediums now are graphite and colored pencil. These two mediums allow me the freedom to be able to work short intervals at a time. I was diagnosed with Essential Tremor in my early thirties and was able to control it with medication until 2006 when I had Deep Brain Stimulation surgery to help control the tremors. There is no cure at this time for ET but there are treatments. Essential Tremor is a Neurological disorder that affects millions of people; it affects the head, hands and voice mostly and is sometimes misdiagnosed as Parkinson Disease.
