| Introduction | This is the part where I always get stuck. IF anyone is out there reading this, what do you care to know? I'll stick with the basics.
My main interests are reading, writing, knitting and gardening. Sean (from Marmot, if you didn't know) and I are trying to visit the Mesa more often, but it's been hard to find time. Last year we got a puppy and now I can be qualified as a dog person. I've worked at libraries since the 3rd grade, in high school, and through college. I've worked for Mesa County Libraries since graduating college and have been a part of almost every center since I started. After growing up outside of L.A., living in Michigan and going to college in Ohio, I've enjoyed living in Grand Junction where the size and seasons are a good balance between my other experiences. I do get homesick for rural green countryside, but working with a wall of windows facing Colorado blue sky and the Monument isn't too shabby. |
