| Introduction | Hello, everyone! Thanks for checking out my blog. Here's a little bit of background for you: I am a 19-year-old missionary kid. I lived for 16 years in northeastern Brazil, in the city of Sao Luis. Last year I came to the US to live with an uncle and aunt in Phoenix, AZ. I have been preparing for college here. Currently, I have been accepted into the Maine Maritime Academy to study Marine Systems Engineering. I will begin classes this fall. The purpose of this blog, however, is to document my summer experience working at Word of Life Island, in Schroon Lake, NY. I will be working as a Boatboy, which means that I will be responsible for getting people and their stuff on and off the island throughout the summer. I am super excited to have this opportunity. I will be updating this blog whenever I get the chance, so that you will know what exactly I am doing and learning and how God is working in me and through. Thank you for your prayers and support.
