| Introduction | Tatsfield is a large village (1800 people) on the North Downs, Kent/Surrey border. We have a great village spirit, although we are basically a commuter village. One of the latest things is 2 acres of a local farmer's field to be used as allotments. I have just taken on one of the brand new allotments. Until the beginning of 2011 it was an arable field. It's solid clay and filled with flints, but it is very quickly turning into proper allotments. This is the story of my efforts. |
