| Introduction | This blog is intended for students, parents and other educators. I enjoy reading, but can't ever afford to purchase the latest bestseller. I have to wait until a book comes to the library. So, I'm hoping to use this blog to review books that are available at my local library. I may just share some of the concerns and hopes that I have about educating children to become literate in the 21st Century world. I'd love input from others. Oh, I think being called a Geek is a compliment! :) |

| Favorite movies | I love movies... I prefer psychological thrillers, but not slasher movies. Mysteries, romance, some comedies, and dramas are my favorite. My current favorite movie is "The Book of Eli". I love the surprise endings. |
