Introduction	I'll 'fess up right away ... I was a horse crazy kid. Can I blame it on my mother? What was she thinking, posing with infant me on that (stuffed) horse at Wall Drug when I was young and impressionable? Once I had daughters, their interest gave me an excuse to get back into the horse world. For many years, I was the "support staff," mucking stalls, going to horse shows, watching them take lessons and compete, wrestling with the horses at vet time. Now, with both daughters off on their own in the Real World, I'm the main caregiver to the ponies (although there are days I wonder who is taking care of whom). This blog is all about being mom to my equine kids, Dude and Bestie.
