| Introduction | I grew up as a missionary kid and lived overseas most of my childhood days. My family returned to the United States when I was in 6th grade and I have live here ever since. I was a police officer for 12 years with the majority of that working for the greatest department in the country, the Houston Police Department. In 2003, God used a car accident to change my life direction and career path 180 degrees. Today I have the greatest job in the world. I am currently serving as the Minister to Children at Houston's First Baptist Church. The First Kids Team believes that church should be a fun and exciting place. A place where God's truths are taught and caught. Our strategy is simple. Church needs to be the best 2 hours of every kids week. If done well, our volunteers enjoy serving and those two hours help change the way kids live the other 166 hours of their week. Being a lifelong ministry partner for parents is a great privilege and together we are changing the world. |
