| Introduction | I'm Nelson Goering, a Germanic philologist currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oxford. My main areas of interest centre around the older Germanic languages (Gothic, Old English, Old Norse, etc.), and their development from Proto-Indo-European. I'm particularly focused on questions of prosody, and the interplay of phonology and morphology in diachronic linguistics. |
