| Introduction | My name is Karen Beckman. I'm the owner/operator of a small boarding facility in rural Wister, Oklahoma called Mesa's Pet Resort. My hobby is learning as much as I can about dog behavior based on true science from real professionals, not hand me down theories, misconceptions or reality TV shows. I also love dog training using positive reinforcement and clicker training. My personal dogs consist of an ACD mix rescue, a red ACD, blue ACD, 15 yo bischon/poodle foster dog, and a recent German Shepherd rescue pulled from a high kill dog pound.
