| Introduction | I have a cell phone. I've had a cell phone for years, eschewing the traditional land line almost ten years ago. Only recently did I decide to upgrade my cell phone into this plam-held, life-organzing, time-sucking entity that I now own. I'm connected at so many levels it is impossible to not sleep with it beside my head--my old Blackberry was always buried in my purse or forgotten on the table. And yes, I previously owned a Blackberry, but I purchased it for the practical uses of a phone: it was compact, easy to carry, and made phone calls and texts. I didn't have internet or music or any of that on it. What more did I need? |
