Introduction	I had it all planned, I was going to write a best selling novel that was going to make me rich. I was going to buy a mansion in the country, learn to ride horses, grow my own veg and stage my own music and literary festival. That never happened; what actually happened was that I was made redundant from my marketing job and I became pregnant. "The best laid plans and all that!" So here instead, to keep me occupied when the wee nipper is asleep, is my diary as a very unconvincing mother, and not my diary as a rich author. I hope that through writing this other accidental mothers might find comfort in our shared shenanigans and realise that the books, experts and so called 'Yummy Mummy's' that make it all look so simple are just liers!
