| Introduction | I'm a sinner saved by grace. I love seeing God work and experiencing how He uses the most unexpected circumstances to draw me to Himself. I'm learning a lot, being stretched immensely, and growing spiritually. I don't have all the answers but I'm trusting the One who does. I'm learning how important it is to truly know my God and strive to have a growing relationship with Him. I'm learning that I can't do it all on my own, but God wants me to be dependent on Him and reminds me frequently that His grace is sufficient (2 Cor. 12:9). I'm learning that the most important thing about me is my view of God. I'm learning that I will never be able to fully comprehend the character of God, but it is still vital that I seek to better understand. I'm learning that testimony is everything and can be lost easily, God is always sovereign, people will fail me and disappoint me but God never will, His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness is great. I've learned this summer that God has richly blessed me with the people He has put in my life who encourage, influence, advise, and counsel me in my spiritual life. The best part about all of this: I still have a lot to learn. |
