About me

GenderFemale
OccupationBeach Bum
LocationThe Beach, East Coast, United States
IntroductionI'm Jen, but I'm not really a beach bum; I wish I was though. Unfortunately, I have to work for a living, so I can't spend my days lounging on the beach playing volleyball and body surfing and reading books. If you have a job opening that fits that description though, I am perfect for it!

Naked Discourse is a blog for sharing my hopes, dreams, and frustrations, sprinkled with random swear words, just for fun. I love to laugh and make others laugh so I try to keep my posts positive, but I'm often cynical and I use a lot of sarcasm, so don't take me too seriously, I certainly don't. My one goal in life is to be happy being me (as bi-polar as I might seem). These are my adventures. They don't always make sense and they aren't always pretty, but hey, that's just life and I'm trying to accept that.
InterestsBooks, Books, Books!!!! The beach, and things that you would do there, like swimming and reading and playing volleyball! I also love to go dancing with the girls and just hanging out with friends having dinner parties and going to concerts in the summer. Also, I love to watch football and hockey.
Favorite moviesThere are far too many movies for me to list all of my favorites. I like all sorts of different movies for different reasons. Mostly, I like dramas and documentaries, but anything with a good story behind it is acceptable.
Favorite musicMy taste changes usually before a song finishes. There are too many to list, but I can honestly say that music these days is certainly not as good as long ago (and by long ago, I mean the 90's- haha). Actually, I do like Motown and classic rock because that is what I was raised on. Oh yeah and support your local music scene, you never know when they will be the next super stars!
Favorite booksGood God, you must be crazy if you want me to list all of these. I read non-stop. Sometimes I read 2 or 3 books at once. I'll leave you with my absolute favorite book: The Catcher in the Rye.
