| Introduction | Jommel is an experienced debater, researcher, and parliamentarian. He served as a part-time SEO writer during the summer of 2008 and wrote 5-10 articles a week about diverse topics (i.e. wedding cakes, tourism, real estate). He has an undergraduate degree in Political Science (Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science) with units in French and Spanish and was recognized as one of the best researchers in behavioral studies (notable works: "Translating Political Awareness to Political Participation Among the Muslim Youth," 2007 group work and "David, Goliath, and Bicol Express: The Change of Power Configuration in Naga City," 2009 undergraduate thesis). He is currently pursuing a Law degree and a Master's degree in Public Administration. He served as an intern at the Cebu City Sanguniang Panlungsond (local legislative body), tasked in drafting committee reports, resolutions, and ordinances. He is well-versed in the Philippine social issues as well as current events, both international and local. |
