Introduction	The present Director, Akira Kubo in addition to the qualifications already listed was a Councilor of the All Japan Kendo Dojo Federation, a Director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Kendo Federation International Section and General Secretary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Dojo Federation. He speaks English and has personally travelled to over 50 countries to introduce and teach kendo as a way to foster international friendship and trust.
