Introduction	Dr. Kreisberg received his Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of Maryland Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 1975. He was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School from 1978-1980 and served as a Biologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was a Professor at the University of Texas Medical School from 1980-2006. Dr. Kreisberg became interested in prostate cancer when his father was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 60. His father did not seek treatment and recently passed away from other causes at the age of 83. Dr. Kreisberg is an internationally recognized scientist in prostate cancer biology.
