| Introduction | Native Vermonter and former Upstate New Yorker, now living in North Carolina with my wife and three kids. Dreaming of XC skiing and getting out there for real when I can. |
| Interests | Walking in snowstorms while eating ice cream. Looking at my bunion imprints in beach sand. Skiing (XC and downhill)- backpacking - fitness - fly fishing - sailing. Mixed nuts (salted). Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. |
| Favorite movies | This is gonna' sound hokey but hear me out: "Never Cry Wolf." Yes, it's a Disney movie but it IS rated PG-13 (there's a naked butt scene). Tyler gets dropped off in the middle of the Great White North to study wolves for six months - overcomes his insecurities and discovers a He-Man witin. And he eats mice - priceless! For TV - "Scrubs" rules! |
| Favorite music | I'm all over the place with music. Here's some of what's on my iPod: Green Day. The Shins. Mindy Smith. Scorpions. Michael Hedges. Gene Loves Gezebel. Beatles. All American Rejects. Everythng But The Girl...yadda, yadda, yadda |
| Favorite books | "Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage" by Alfred Lansing. By FAR the best Shackleton book out there - and I've read them all. Such an amazing story in and of itself, and Lansing's easy style is not encumbered by his exhaustive and truly impressive research. I couldn't put it down. (The A&E mini-series "Shackleton" is deffinitley worth renting.) |
You've rented a sky-writer to propose to your significant other, but it's completely overcast. What will you do?
Drink 21 cups of tea and write "Will you marry me?" in the snow.
