| Introduction | Marica lives in a yurt with her husband Justin, and their three children, several large dogs and two cats. She illustrated the recently published "Blue Heron Ranch Cookbook", 2008 North Atlantic Books. She is currently finishing up several children’s books of her own. Aside from the wonderful everlasting mothering and house keeping, Marica spends time drawing with the kids, sewing, knitting, trying to grow flowers –although the chickens keep eating them- cooking, cooking, cooking, and enjoying living in the mountains on the same property as her parents.
