| Introduction | Quilting should be fun! I was frustrated with fussy patterns and tedious sewing methods and with that feeling, out-of-the-box thinking, and a desire for a creative challenge, Quiltsmart was born (1994). We are based on using printed fusible interfacing - no curved or inset piecing! I love being a mom of 3 great young adults, a grandma of one spectacular 8 year old, and running the business. I love traveling, and have taught in Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico, Spain, and all over the United States. I enjoy inline skating, quilting, sewing, playing scrabble, 4-day work weeks, and anything chocolate. Quiltsmart moved from Minnesota to Bend, Oregon, in 2012 and I love living in Central Oregon. I present virtual customized presentations and also hands-on quilting seminars, classes, and retreats. I enjoy delivering the message that quilting is fun and relaxing – and with Quiltsmart's modern methods it can be! |
