| Introduction | Our Promise: Because nothing is official until it’s in writing (we’re lawyers, sue us), we want to take this moment to amend our mission statement. Truth: we didn’t actually write a mission statement. But if we did, it would look a lot like our very first blog post. We hereby promise not to troll other blogs for followers. We will not follow blogs, comment on other blogs, or anything of that ilk to gain followers. Because we have real jobs. We do not want to quit our jobs to become full-time bloggers. We do not want to sit around in our pajamas all day, pretending to live glamorous lives. OK that is a total lie- we wish we didn’t have to go to work every day. But if we did all of a sudden get to quit our real jobs, we (Katie 1 and Katie 2) would totally do it a la the Duchess of Cambridge, because she is flawless (except for that whole always matching her shoes to her outfit thing). Elizabeth would quit her job to work at Sephora. She loves to do other people’s makeup. Especially in the bathroom at the bar after she’s had a few drinks. Watch out. So for the time being, we will just have to sit in our cubicles, striving to look half as amazing as Amal Clooney or Claire Underwood. |
