Introduction	"Coasting" started the first day I thought Lyon and I might be able to pull off a cycling trip down the West Coast. We completed the trip in October 2010, successfully raising a dollar for each mile we pedaled for Posada Esperanza, a shelter for immigrant women and children in Austin, my home city.
