| Introduction | I am a thirty-something Haus Frau to mein Geliebtes, Brian, and three minions: Aubrey-12, Bryson-7, and Sadie-4. Though youthful dreaming led me down a path to vocal music stardom, I chose the more fulfilling career as an at-home diva. Along the way, I began baking & caking, destined to a life of serial baking. Mostly self-taught, I have taken a few courses in Wilton Cake decorating, leading me to become a Wilton Instructor for a short period of time. I have also been most fortunate to take classes both state-side, and in the UK with Lorraine McKay, Queen of Sugar. Today, though, I mostly bake for friends and family and anyone else who will indulge me with a confectionery request. |

| Favorite books | My aging brain does not allow me to sit idle for more than 15 minutes without going into sleep mode. This makes reading a book most difficult. Nonetheless, I cherish a good Dr. Suess book now and again. |
