IntroductionThis club looks at issues relating to religion – varieties of religions, their histories, changes, and future; the role religion(s) had played and still play(s) in society, the development and role of myths (theistic and nontheistic), their adaptations to modern society, factors which influence religion and society, how ethics developed and what role was played by religion, how cultures are changing and can be evaluated in modern globalized world. The group meets once a month on the fourth Saturday at 10:30 at Dr. Louis and LaVerl Daily's house who graciously offered it for the place of meetings. His address is : 1506 North Boulevard, located in the vicinity of Rice University. From the west side of town one can get there by taking the Southwest Freeway (US 59), exit at Greenbriar-Shepherd, and follow south on Greenbriar to North Boulevard. Turn left on North Boulevard and go to the intersection with the Mandell Street. The house is on the north side of the street. There is a vacant lot before the house and one can park in the street! Also parking is available in the end of the driveway leading to Dr. Daily's house.
