Introduction | Actor or reactor? Both. Observer or particpant? Both. Political mind? Yes. Political stomach? No. Intellectual? Yes. Academic? Not so much. Teacher? Definitely. Student? Always. I'm an American chica with a Latin heart. Born just outside of Baltimore, I ended up as an exchange student at age 16 in Brazil and found myself at home there. Crazy, but true. After a few years working on an Argentine bank's trading floor in New York, I married a Texan, moved to Texas and became a Spanish teacher. I follow politics, vote, dance and drink wine with dinner. I don't play games. I want to know what you think. I hate to be the smartest person in the room. I want to learn something. But I also dance, laugh and love! Besos! |
