IntroductionI was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and that is where I still reside. I've been fortunate to do a good amount of traveling in my lifetime, both for business and pleasure. My travels have been limited to the United States. I would like to travel abroad someday, but if it doesn't happen, that's okay too. There is more than enough to see right here in the greatest country in the world. I am married to a lovely lady who gives me more support and love than I could ever deserve. I am blessed with 4 children. Jason and Taylor are my oldest, then there is my step-daughter Abby, and last but not least the suprise arrival, Hannah, who is only 2. I am blessed with wonderful parents and a great family all the way around.
InterestsMy interests are wide and varied. I love history and find myself reading more and more of it. I guess you can say I like politics and current events, but as much as I like them, they are also a source of great frustration at times. I love music and I listen to several types. I play acoustic guitar and do some singing. Lastly, I love sports, especially Green Bay Packer football.
Favorite moviesThis is always tough to answer, but I will try: When We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Rocky I and II, Brian's Song, Remember The Titans, Schindler's List, and Forrest Gump. I love classic horror and sci-fi stuff from the 1950s: The Creature From The Black Lagoon, The Incredible Shrinking Man, Them, The Thing, and movies of that sort. I also have to add two of the greatest mini-series that have ever been on TV in my opinion: Centennial and, more recently, HBO's John Adams.
Favorite musicMy favorite band of all time is The Beatles; however, my taste in music is very diverse. I love classic 60s and 70s rock, singer-songwriter stuff, both old and newer country, and as I've gotten older, I've learned to really appreciate the crooners like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin. I also love old MoTown stuff.
Favorite booksThis may be impossible to list with a specific book, so I will categorize. I'm very partial to non-fiction, primarily history and political works. I enjoy some writing on theology and church history.
