| Introduction | I was lucky enough to marry my soul mate on Valentines Day 1981. We had known each other 10 days before we began planning our wedding and have been married for an incredible 29 years so far. We have been blessed with two unbelievably wonderful kids who continually make us proud. My passions when I was younger were my horses, various and assorted other pets, basketball,volleyball and swimteam and spending time fishing and camping. As I've grown older I have become a regular at the local bead shops, fabric stores and quilt shops. I also have a Starbucks Gold Card, one habit I have not been able to kick! I enjoy fly fishing with my husband, but I do not get out as much as I would like to. It is a shame because we are in a wonderful location to do it when we can. I have always been healthy and active and so was stunned when it was confirmed on October 7th 2010 that I have breast cancer. I have felt compelled to share my story, and this is how I have chosen to do it. If I can reach out to only one person and let them know how I make my journey, it will be worth the trip. |
