Introduction	Welcome to our blog site! As mechanical engineers, Michelle and Rob started a small renewable energy consulting company several years ago. Although the company originally focused on modelling, design, installation & maintenance of all types of renewable energy systems, our keen interest in sustainability eventually brought permaculture to us and our business slowly morphed into integrated sustainable and ecological design. Rather than focus on renewable energy we now advocate and consult on the integrated holistic design of: renewable energy systems, water systems, waste management & organic food production (i.e. permaculture). We are passionate about helping Canadians (and global citizens) who are willing to embrace energy efficiency, take control of their energy future and minimize their ecological impact through the use of permaculture, renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
