| Interests | Holger is a long term security enthusiast started to work for Siemens as a telecommunication specialist building Hicom PBX systems and later networking systems. After passing the CCIE exam, he moved to Cisco 15 years ago, worked as penetration tester and security consultant supporting large customer projects. Before he moved to Talos his last job role at Cisco was leading the Cyber Security Technical Advisor Group in EMEA. He did security research in a couple of sectors like botnet technology, sandbox bypassing, VPN MITM, Ransomware and he developed several tools from sandboxing to penetration testing and threat hunting.
