| Introduction | Who am I? What may be a more important question is, “What experiences have I had that are worth sharing?” Over the past 35 (or so) years I have worked in preschools, elementary and high school, and a children’s hospital. During that time I worked with typical children, children with various differences or “special needs”, ESL children, and teens. I have presented workshops at conferences and schools sharing what I have learned and discovered about how important communication is to being fully involved in life. I am not an educator - I am a learner. It is the children and teens who shared a part of their life with me who are the teachers and my inspiration. I want to inspire others to make sure everyone has a life with no limits and everyone is respected. Together we can make changes and enrich lives. |
