| Introduction | As a college football fan I live in the perfect location, the center of the SEC and ACC. With some exceptions, I'm just a short drive from several of the top venues in college football, and I've had the privilege to see first hand some of the classic match ups featuring traditional football powerhouses including my first "Third Saturday in October" in 1973 at Legion Field where Tennessee and Alabama faced off. I realized then that people in the South take their football very seriously, as deep as any religious or political belief. There's no question that this is the perfect time of year with Friday night high school football as an appetizer leading to a tremendous buffet of great games on Saturday. Let's enjoy another great season of fun, friends, and football. |
