| Introduction | MoJo is the name of our boat. It is a combination of our initials. Mike is Mo and I am Jo. For recreation, our #1 destination is Lake Powell. We love the primordial tranquility. Even though Powell can demonstrate some notorious storms clocking 70mph winds, and we have survived a few, we have never been disappointed with any visit to the greatest place on earth. The low water has allowed us to hike back into Lehi Canyon and stand next to the double arches. We've walked the floor of Cathedral-In-The-Desert. We were in awe by the labyrinth of Reflection Canyon during low water. We've treasured ever adventure. On the other hand, we look forward to the time when we again can meander into Secret Canyon, Cathedral Canyon, and West Canyon. We again want to go so far back into the canyons and find the water so still that as you float around the narrow canyon walls you lose touch with reality and the sky and the water are one and you see infinity above and infinity below -- you transcend reality and move into a realm were you can believe you are flying above the world. Wow! What a trip! |
| Interests | Each Other Family and Church are the central elements that bring joy and happiness to our lives. Watching our grandkids grow and develop along the way is a marvelous wonder to behold and we are so very grateful for the privilege. Michael (12) is the most fascinating person to engage in conversation - just ask him about his plan to get water to Mars. Alyssa (12) is a very spiritual little girl who walks by faith. Connor (6)is smart and bright and can figure out any problem he sets his mind to. Caitlyn (5)is our drama queen - she is beautiful and full of life and has a vibrant imagination. Nathan (4) is truly pure in heart with no guile and you feel close to the spirit by being with him. Brody weighed less than 5 lbs when he was born but he is perfect in every way. We are anxious to see him walk and talk and turn into a typical little boy. Hayley is precious & cute as can be. She loves being entertained and going places even at just 6 months old. Our grandkids are blessed with wonderful parents. We are richly blessed by each one of our childred and by their circle of family too. |
