| Introduction | Commercial Fashion Advertising Photographer Revolutionary Thinking. I come from a long linage of Revolutionary Thinkers. My 6th great grandfather Zachariah Shugart came to America with William Penn in the late 16 hundreds. His 3 sons were in Yorktown PA, and were pillars of the community, both of my of my g......uncles were sheriffs in York County,Pa. mid 1700's. On November 15, 1777, Congress adopted its first constitution, the Articles of Confederation, in the York County Courthouse. The Articles, the first document to bind the 13 original colonies as the United States of America, established a legal system that bridged the gap from the Declaration of Independence to the adoption of the Constitution nearly 10 years later. Many were staunch Abolitionists, militia men, revolutionary patriots, and civil war combantants, on both sides, as well as contentious objectors. |
