About me

Location Bangkok, Thailand
Introduction I am a classic self "learned" woodworker. I was inspired at a very young age and hung around a pestered my father all the time when he was working on all kinds of projects from woodworking, to stone masonry to car re-building. I was always curious and interested. Maybe in the way sometimes! I have been nocking around with woodworking for probably 40 years, my god! I am to young to be this old. I was inspired early on by my father of course, but then also by the likes of Norm Abram. I wanted all of his tools and gadgets for sure. There came a brief time in my life when I kind of sort of could afford all of these toys. I collected every tool, gadget. fixture imaginable. But I spent so much time "fiddling" with all of it I did little woodworking. After many years of nothing, I got back into all hand tools, and have completely enjoyed the learning journey. I am now an expat living and working in Thailand, and have brought most of what I have here 25 kilos at a time in a suitcase!
