Introduction | I am a 32 year old recovering third grade teacher from the Deep South who has been transplanted to the Midwest after marrying her 43 year old best friend. After less than four months of marriage, we realized at the same time that we really did want children. DH had a vasectomy seven years prior... Off to the RE...I had to have my right fallopian tube and multiple uterine polyps removed after an HSG and lighted uterine scope. We were told by two RE's that our only hope of getting pregnant is IVF with ICSI. We injected lupron for the first time 12.30.09., retrieved 5 eggs on 1.20.10, and transferred two blasts on 1.25.10. Our beta was negative. We are thankful to have one snow baby left. On 3.24.10, we were diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve. We will begin IVF#2 in the summer of 2010 with a Lupron microdose flare protocol. We will also add acupuncture, herbs, Menopur, and Lovenox. Thank you so much for reading about us.
