| Introduction | I am a thoughtful person. On the outside, this thoughtfulness manifests as generosity with my time, abilities, and presence. But I live every moment in my own head, or the mind more exactly, which is not actually contained in one's head. I always have things to say, and tact enough to know when people haven't the temper or spirit or patience to absorb them. I decided to set up this weblog as a despository for all the ruminations that could clog my brain otherwise. You will find that I am forthright and honest. I have ideas about what right and wrong are, and I live by them. I have great capacity for compassion, and also for complete intolerance of certain things. I am sentimental and I am practical, romantic and reasonable. I am intent on persuading. You are forewarned. |
