| Interests | Current issues: is "Islamic democracy" possible, the superiority of all things French, The Plame Affair: How much time will Scooter serve & where, should I be ashamed because I care less about Scooter Libby than I cared about Martha Stewart?, Will Ted Turner ever buy back CNN?, Will Ted Turner start a new all NEWS cable channel? |
| Favorite movies | Capote (PSH earns an Oscar and you get to watch it -- happen aren't you lucky), Amadeus, The Godfather (the trilogy -- part three is worth the last fifteen minutes alone), Indochine, Platoon, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, We Were Soldiers, Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf (Liz and Dick invite you into their home for a few drinks!) |
| Favorite music | I watched the Grammys and I am really out of touch because I barely knew any of the music -- except that annoying Dixie Chicks thing -- I just haven't stopped listening to Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics CD and a few tunes from the soundtrack to Freedom Writers; so I'm really out of the loop musically. I'm over 40, so I'm probably just out of the zone. |
| Favorite books | Postcards by Annie Proulx; The Living and For The Time Being by Annie Dillard; nothing makes me laugh more than the Pooh books by A.A. Milne, and I believe no child should be deprived the joy of being read those books. |
