Introduction	As a kid growing up in San Francisco, I was coincidentally introduced to fly fishing by the Rajeff's, although they wouldn't know me and know about it, but it's too long of a story to share here... However, I got my first chance to fly fish, as a teen backpacking in the Sierra's and have been severely hooked ever since. Now that I've retired, I'll get to do a lot more!! As is with a lot of fly fishers, I also developed an interest in tying my own flies. I think a lot of is the artistry that goes into it, but I also enjoy fooling the fish with a creation of my own making. But... it can quickly become an expensive hobby. Therefore, I've developed my own ways of curtailing costs, be it buying beading materials at Walmart, finding supplies at the hobby/craft stores, keeping skins from birds I've hunted and squirrels I've killed, etc. I also try to figure out my own ways to use different materials in patterns, but with the same results. This is an effort to share a little of that information.........
