| Introduction | Prof. L. Ramakrishnan is the Distinguished Professor and Head, IndSearch Centre of Sustainability Management (i-cosm), IndSearch, Pune. He has over 32 years of industrial experience, in R & D, Environmental & Sustainability Management. Prior to joining IndSearch, he was the Regional Sustainability Coordinator, Philips Lighting, Asia Pacific Region. He holds 2 Ph.Ds, one in Inorganic and Physical Chemistry & Physics from IISc, Bangalore, (1977) and the other in Environmental Management from the University of Pune (2001). He was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA in 1979-1980. He is a Fellow of IEMA (UK), a Registered Principal Environmental Auditor (IEMA) and a Chartered Environmentalist (UK). He has been teaching subjects like Environmental Management, Sustainability and CSR to post-graduate management students for over 15 years now. His interest areas: EcoDesign, Eco-Efficiency, Environmental Accounting, Auditing and Reporting, EIA, ISO-14001, Sustainability Assessment, Energy Efficiency (Climate change), CSR, BOP, Extended Producer Responsibility, Green/Sustainable Supply Chain etc. |
