| Introduction | I was born in Minneapolis, MN and my family traversed our Jordan River (in other words the Mississippi River) and headed to the promised land --- North Carolina, when I was around 9 years old. So I grew up in Charlotte, NC and at 18 I decided to go back to the desert of Minneapolis, MN. I made it a whopping 3 months and moved back to Charlotte, NC. Soon I moved to Wilmington, NC and lived there for 12 years. In Wilmington I graduated from UNC - Wilmington, I got married, I had babies (4) and received a call from God into the ministry. So in July, 2006 I moved everyone to Roxboro, NC. After 7 years of serving at a wonderful church called Warren's Grove, we have now moved back to Wilmington, NC. We are starting a new faith community in downtown Wilmington called The Anchor. We are a Home School family and we love hiking, skiing, swimming, exploring, and canoeing. |
| Interests | I like canoing and kayaking. I also like walking and reading. In the winter I love skiing. And in the summer I love the beach and playing in the sound and going fishing. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite movies --- like ones that I could watch over and over again --- is the Star Wars trilogy. |
| Favorite music | Right now, I am really into the David Crowder Band, Jars of Clay and Caedmon's Call. |
| Favorite books | Growing up, my favorite book was On the Road, by Jack Kerouac. Now, I read a lot of theology books. But, I also really like Brothers Karamazov, by Fydor Dostoevsky. |
